Pilinos house is totally gorgeous, we were so comfortable and content here thank you! We had the best time going up and down the coast, the water and the landscape are stunning. Highlights for us include Amoudi and Kalamaki beach, Memi in the afternoon has a football pitch and our son loved playing there with the Greek men and boys. Windsurf and SUP at Koroni!. The “lovely Joanna” kept us supplied with large succulent figs along with all the other superbly fresh vegetables and fruits, dried oregano, honey and fresh tasting orange marmalade – the latter especially welcomed by our accompanying house guest when the marmalade transported from England ran out. We’ve had a true rest, just what we needed. After 10 days hiking in the north we’ve taken advantage of Pilinos’s charms and thoroughly unwound. We went as far as Pylos and walked around the lagoon, Voidikilia and found a lovely cove just beside the tomb of Thrasymedes (cove is Glossa) – see walk in the Badt guide p 180. We have had an amazing few days! Truly wonderful house with everything you could need. The delightful house cat was a wonderful early morning and evening companion. Such a treat to have five wonderful days in such a delightful location. The place really is a home from home – so well stocked and beautifully done. Nikos’ taverna is fantastic – we went almost every night! Finikounda beach was really lovely, especially as it was so quiet this time of year. We’d happily return anytime.
